After a couple of false starts our raiding got going for real last night with Elegon going down for a guild first kill. Although we're a good way behind the curve it's nice to be getting guild firsts and getting back into the swing of things. Hopwfully we'll see more progress in the near future as we blow away the cobwebs and start firing on all cylinders.

We are please to announce that from 7th February The Last Stand has begun raiding again. We're raiding on a reduced 2 night a week schedule however all guild member past and present are welcome to come along. If your interested let Steve or myself know.

It's with great sadness that we're announcing that The Last Stand is taking a break from raiding. This is mainly due to it being nearly impossible to recruit new raiders on Anachronos. More and more we have been finding that as players move on to other guilds or pastures new it's impossible to replace them. In the short term the guild will continue as a social guild, we'll be looking to review the situation in the new year and see then if their is any scope to resume raiding.

The officers and myself would like to thank everyone who has put time and effort into TLS annd please don't be a stranger, our forums remain open and we're always happy to hear from you!

Our progress through Mogu'sjan Vaults continues with The Last Stand taking down Gara'jal the Spiritbinder & The Spirit Kings on the same night. Great work everyone and expect more progress in the near future. Screenshots to follow!

After a couple of false starts we finally got started with our Mists of Pandaria raid campaign. In a night that was shorten by people having to leave early we made short work of the first two bosses. Hopefully we'll see more progress on Sunday. Great work everyone!

I'm pleased to be able to announce that with immediate effect TLS has a new Assistant GM. Steve has agreed to step up to the post which has been vacant for a while. Steve and myself will be looking after the day to day running of the guild including strengthening our raid roster ready for the challenges the MoP raiding will bring.

They think it's all over.... It is now!

Last night TLS went 8/8 heroic taking down heroic Madness of Deathwing and thus cleared all the bosses in the current tier of raiding and completing the Cataclysm expansion. As ever big gratz to everyone in the guild, not just those who where there at the kill but also to those who endured nights of seemingly endless wiping but missed the first kill.
